There are six seasons in Bangladesh. Winter is one of them. The morning in the winter is called winter morning. A winter morning is very misty and cold. In winter dew drops on grasses and trees at night. Everything is covered with dense fog. Sometimes the fog is so dense that the sun's rays can not get through it.
Everything seems to be hazy from a little distance. Birds chirping is not heard. Cows and other animals can not come out. In winter the nights are long and the days are short. The people get up late from bed. Then they enjoy the winter morning in many ways. They put on warm cloth, gather straws or leaves and make fire to warm themselves.
Children and old people bask in the sun. Besides, the people enjoy the winter morning happily by eating various kinds of delicious cakes, date juice, pais, pieces of bread and other items. It may be noted that the poor suffer much in winter and the rich enjoy the winter with much pleasure. In fine, in spite of having some demerits in winter it is a pleasant morning to most of the people.

বাংলাদেশে ছয়টি ঋতু রয়েছে। তার মধ্যে শীত অন্যতম। শীতের সকালকে বলা হয় শীতের সকাল। একটি শীতের সকাল খুব কুয়াশাচ্ছন্ন এবং ঠান্ডা। শীতকালে ঘাস ও গাছে রাতে শিশির বিন্দু। ঘন কুয়াশায় ঢেকে গেছে সবকিছু। কখনও কখনও কুয়াশা এত ঘন হয় যে সূর্যের রশ্মি তা দিয়ে যেতে পারে না।
একটু দূর থেকে মনে হচ্ছে সবকিছুই ঝাপসা। পাখির কিচিরমিচির শোনা যায় না। গরুসহ অন্যান্য প্রাণী বের হতে পারে না। শীতকালে রাত দীর্ঘ এবং দিন ছোট হয়। মানুষ দেরি করে বিছানা থেকে উঠছে। তারপর তারা নানাভাবে শীতের সকাল উপভোগ করে। তারা গরম কাপড় পরে, খড় বা পাতা সংগ্রহ করে এবং নিজেদের গরম করার জন্য আগুন তৈরি করে।
শিশু ও বৃদ্ধরা রোদে সেঁধছে। এছাড়া বিভিন্ন রকমের সুস্বাদু পিঠা, খেজুরের রস, পায়েস, রুটিসহ নানা পদ খেয়ে শীতের সকালকে উপভোগ করেন মানুষ। উল্লেখ্য যে, দরিদ্ররা শীতে অনেক কষ্ট পায় এবং ধনীরা শীতকে অনেক আনন্দের সাথে উপভোগ করে। সূক্ষ্মভাবে, শীতকালে কিছু ত্রুটি থাকা সত্ত্বেও বেশিরভাগ মানুষের কাছে এটি একটি মনোরম সকাল।

A winter morning is a cold and foggy morning during the winter season, also called a snowy morning in different countries. Winter mornings are usually very cold. Village life is really interesting on winter mornings. During this season dew drops fall throughout the night and morning. Sometimes, you won't be able to see the sun for a long time. Farmers used to go to the field early in the morning with their ploughs and cows. Winter mornings are really tough for those who have to work. Elderly people and children collect straw and build fires to warm themselves. Another way to warm up is to lie in the sun. The food is great at this time. Rich people enjoy their morning with good food and good clothes. But poor people and especially homeless people suffer the most at that time.
