The Simple Present Tense is a verb tense used to describe actions or states that are habitual, general facts, or regular occurrences. It is used to talk about things that happen in the present time or are true in general.

In this tense, the base form of the verb is used for all subjects, except for the third-person singular subjects (he, she, it), where an -s or -es is added to the verb.

For example, "I walk to school every day" or "She runs in the park." The Simple Present Tense is also used to express opinions, beliefs, and emotions.

It is important to note that the Simple Present Tense does not indicate actions that are happening at the exact moment of speaking but rather actions that occur regularly or facts that are generally true.
