One night Haji Muhammad Mohsin was sleeping. In the middle of the night, he was woken up by a sound. He opened his eyes and saw a man in his room. He thought of the man and asked him, "Who are you? Why? Trembling with fear, the man said, "I entered your house to steal some money. I have no work, no money. My children have not eaten for two days. So I came to steal. Mohsin felt sorry for the man and his family. He gave the man some money and asked to go home, and the man thanked him. "Try to find work. Never try to steal," says Mohsin. The man followed Mohsin's advice. He found work and lived an honest and respectable life.

এক রাতে হাজী মুহম্মদ মহসিন ঘুমাচ্ছিলেন। মাঝরাতে একটা শব্দে তার ঘুম ভেঙে যায়। সে চোখ খুলে তার ঘরে একজন লোককে দেখতে পেল। সে লোকটির কথা ভেবে তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করল, "কে তুমি? কেন? ভয়ে কাঁপতে কাঁপতে লোকটি বলল, আমি কিছু টাকা চুরি করতে তোমার ঘরে ঢুকেছিলাম। আমার কোন কাজ নেই, টাকা নেই। আমার ছেলেমেয়েরা দুদিন ধরে খায়নি। তাই চুরি করতে এসেছি। মহসিন লোকটি এবং তার পরিবারের জন্য দুঃখিত। তিনি লোকটিকে কিছু টাকা দিলেন এবং বাড়ি যেতে বললেন, লোকটি তাকে ধন্যবাদ দিল। মহসিন বলেন, "কাজ খোঁজার চেষ্টা করুন। কখনো চুরি করার চেষ্টা করবেন না।" লোকটি মহসিনের পরামর্শ মেনে চলল। তিনি কাজ খুঁজে পেয়েছিলেন এবং একটি সৎ ও সম্মানজনক জীবনযাপন করেছিলেন।

Haji Mohammad Mohsin was a kind man who helped people in many ways. He was famous for his kindness. One night he was sleeping in his room. Hearing the sound, he woke up. He saw a stranger standing in a corner of the room. The man looked pale and poor. He was trembling with fear. He didn't try to escape but stayed still. Mohsin asked him who he is? The man replied that he was a thief. He also spoke about his own suffering. Mohsin sympathizes and gives him some money. He said to the man, whenever there is trouble. He advised the man not to steal. The man was very happy and thanked Mohsin profusely. Then he went to his house. He vowed that he would never steal. He was grateful for the help and generosity of Haji Mohammad Mohsin.
মহসিন ও চোর
হাজী মোহাম্মদ মহসীন ছিলেন একজন সদয় মানুষ যিনি মানুষকে নানাভাবে সাহায্য করেছেন। তিনি তার দয়ার জন্য বিখ্যাত ছিলেন। একদিন রাতে সে তার ঘরে ঘুমাচ্ছিল। শব্দ শুনে তার ঘুম ভেঙে যায়। দেখল ঘরের এক কোণে একজন অপরিচিত লোক দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। লোকটিকে ফ্যাকাশে এবং দরিদ্র লাগছিল। সে ভয়ে কাঁপছিল। সে পালানোর চেষ্টা করেনি কিন্তু স্থির থাকে। মহসিন তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করল সে কে? লোকটি উত্তর দিল সে চোর। নিজের কষ্টের কথাও বলেছেন। মহসিন সহানুভূতি দেখায় এবং তাকে কিছু টাকা দেয়। লোকটিকে বললেন, যখনই কষ্ট হবে। তিনি লোকটিকে চুরি না করার পরামর্শ দিলেন। লোকটি খুব খুশি হয়েছিল এবং মহসিনকে অজস্র ধন্যবাদ জানায়। অতঃপর তিনি তার বাড়িতে গেলেন। সে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিল যে সে কখনো চুরি করবে না। তিনি হাজী মোহাম্মদ মহসিনের সাহায্য ও উদারতার জন্য কৃতজ্ঞ ছিলেন।
