Every country's culture is the pride or pride of that country, Bangladesh also has its own culture and tradition. Bangladeshi culture reflects the behaviour of individuals, clothing, occasions, language, livelihood, festivals etc.
The people of Bangladesh are greatly influenced by faith. The main religions are Islam, Hinduism, Christianity and Buddhism. Although each religion has different cultures and festivals, people still live in peace and harmony with each other. A strong brotherhood prevails between them.
Their lifestyle, food habits, dress, values etc. are almost similar even though they belong to different religions, regions and different dialects. Every event is celebrated with the participation of every religious person. Bangladesh has a golden history. We have 21st February (International Mother Language Day), 26th March (Independence Day), 16th December (Victory Day), Pahela Baishakh (first day of Bengali New Year) etc. On this day the culture and traditions of Bangladesh are fully reflected. Bangladeshis have food traditions. Rice is the staple food here. They usually eat rice with curry three times a day. Bangladeshi men wear lungis and women wear sarees.
Different types of arts and crafts are seen in Bangladesh. Weaving pottery, terracotta, nakshi kantha etc. are traditional in Bangladesh. Although the culture of Bangladesh is rich, now foreign culture is intruding into our culture. So, we should be careful and try to project our own culture to the world.

প্রতিটা দেশের সংস্কৃতি হলো সেই দেশের গৌরব না অহংকার, তারই ধারাবাহিকতায় বাংলাদেশেরও নিজস্ব সংস্কৃতি ও ঐতিহ্য রয়েছে। বাংলাদেশী সংস্কৃতি ব্যক্তি, পোশাক, উপলক্ষ, ভাষা, জীবিকা, উৎসব ইত্যাদির আচরণকে প্রতিফলিত করে। বাংলাদেশের মানুষ বিশ্বাস দ্বারা ব্যাপকভাবে প্রভাবিত। প্রধান ধর্ম হল ইসলাম, হিন্দুধর্ম, খ্রিস্টান এবং বৌদ্ধ ধর্ম। যদিও প্রতিটি ধর্মের বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতি এবং উত্সব রয়েছে, তবুও মানুষ একে অপরের সাথে শান্তি ও সম্প্রীতিতে বসবাস করে। তাদের মধ্যে দৃঢ় ভ্রাতৃত্ব বিরাজ করে।
তাদের জীবনযাত্রা, খাদ্যাভ্যাস, পোশাক, মূল্যবোধ ইত্যাদি প্রায় একই রকম যদিও তারা বিভিন্ন ধর্ম, অঞ্চল এবং বিভিন্ন উপভাষার অন্তর্ভুক্ত। প্রত্যেক ধর্মপ্রাণ মানুষের অংশগ্রহণে প্রতিটি অনুষ্ঠান পালিত হয়। বাংলাদেশের রয়েছে সোনালী ইতিহাস। আমাদের 21শে ফেব্রুয়ারি (আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস), 26শে মার্চ (স্বাধীনতা দিবস), 16ই ডিসেম্বর (বিজয় দিবস), পহেলা বৈশাখ (বাংলা নববর্ষের প্রথম দিন) ইত্যাদি। এই দিনে বাংলাদেশের সংস্কৃতি ও ঐতিহ্য সম্পূর্ণরূপে প্রতিফলিত হয়। বাংলাদেশিদের খাদ্য ঐতিহ্য রয়েছে। ভাত এখানকার প্রধান খাবার। তারা সাধারণত দিনে তিনবার তরকারি দিয়ে ভাত খান। বাংলাদেশী পুরুষরা লুঙ্গি পরে এবং মহিলারা শাড়ি পরে।
বাংলাদেশে বিভিন্ন ধরনের চারু ও কারুশিল্প দেখা যায়। তাঁতের মৃৎপাত্র, পোড়ামাটির, নকশি কাঁথা ইত্যাদি বাংলাদেশের ঐতিহ্যবাহী। বাংলাদেশের সংস্কৃতি সমৃদ্ধ হলেও এখন বিদেশি সংস্কৃতি আমাদের সংস্কৃতিতে অনুপ্রবেশ করছে। সুতরাং, আমাদের সতর্ক হওয়া উচিত এবং আমাদের নিজস্ব সংস্কৃতিকে বিশ্বের কাছে তুলে ধরার চেষ্টা করা উচিত।
