We are living in the age of science and technology which we are observing every moment. The mobile phone is a wonderful invention of modern science and technology. A mobile phone is a scientific device through which we can communicate with others. This communication system works without any cable connection. Now a day can't be imagined without a mobile. Mobile phone users are increasing day by day. Nowadays, especially students are most addicted to mobile phones. They sometimes hang out and waste time with their friends when they should be studying at the table. As people are getting benefits from mobile phones, it also has some disadvantages. It sometimes becomes injurious to health. It causes brain tumours, genetic damage and many other incurable diseases. But it is very unfortunate that most people are not aware of the disadvantages of mobile phones. Blood pressure rises and red blood cells are damaged if a person is constantly exposed to radiation caused by a cellular phone. Mobile phone use is also harmful to pregnant women. So the government should increase public awareness of the use of mobile phones by children and pregnant women. We will benefit more if mobile phones are used in a controlled manner.
আমরা বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তির যুগে বাস করছি যা আমরা প্রত্যেক মুহুর্তেই অবলোকন করছি । মোবাইল ফোন আধুনিক বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তির একটি বিস্ময়কর আবিষ্কার। একটি মোবাইল ফোন একটি বৈজ্ঞানিক ডিভাইস যার মাধ্যমে আমরা অন্যদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করতে পারি। কোন তারের সংযোগ ছাড়া এই যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা চলে। এখন মোবাইল ছাড়া একটা দিন কল্পনাই করা যায় না। মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহারকারী দিন দিন বাড়ছে। আজকাল, বিশেষ করে শিক্ষার্থীরা মোবাইল ফোনের প্রতি সবচেয়ে বেশি আসক্তি। তারা মাঝে মাঝে আড্ডা দেয় এবং তাদের বন্ধুদের সাথে সময় নষ্ট করে যখন তাদের টেবিলে অধ্যয়ন করা উচিত। মোবাইল ফোন থেকে মানুষ যেমন সুবিধা পাচ্ছে, তেমন এর কিছু অসুবিধাও রয়েছে । এটি কখনো কখনো স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য ক্ষতিকর হয়ে ওঠে। এটি মস্তিষ্কের টিউমার, জেনেটিক ক্ষতি এবং অন্যান্য অনেক অসাধ্য রোগ সৃষ্টি করে। কিন্তু এটা খুবই দুর্ভাগ্যজনক যে অধিকাংশ মানুষই মোবাইল ফোনের অসুবিধা সম্পর্কে সচেতন নয়। রক্তচাপ বেড়ে যায় এবং লোহিত রক্তকণিকা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয় যদি একজন ব্যক্তি ক্রমাগত একটি সেলুলার ফোন দ্বারা সৃষ্ট বিকিরণের সংস্পর্শে আসে। মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহার গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের জন্যও ক্ষতিকর। তাই সরকারের উচিত শিশু ও গর্ভবতী মহিলাদের মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহারে জনসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করা। মোবাইল ফোন নিয়ন্ত্রিত পদ্ধতিতে ব্যবহার করলে আমরা আরও উপকৃত হব।
