Victory Day Paragraph for SSC & HSC

16th December is the happiest day in Bangladesh which is celebrated as Victory Day. Bangladesh became independent on this day in 1971. People of this country celebrate the day with great respect and dignity. People from all walks of life celebrate the day to pay deep respect to the martyrs.

Government and private institutions organize special events on the day and also broadcast special programs on all the radio and TV channels of the country. The day is a public holiday and the national flag is hoisted atop all public and private buildings. I went to Savar National Memorial to pay my respects to the martyred freedom fighters. On that day we remember those brave souls of the soil whose blood has won the victory. It is truly considered a day of great pride and joy for an independent country.

On this day we feel for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in war. Their strength and sacrifice inspire us. Pakistani occupation forces killed thousands of innocent people, tortured countless women, and ,killed many intellectuals of the country. After nine months of war we won the golden sun of freedom from the barbaric Pakistanis. The sacrifice of the martyrs to work for the country will serve as a source of inspiration for us. The symbolic meaning of the day is that we have achieved victory over our enemy Pakistani rulers. The people of Bangladesh have proved that freedom is the birthright of people.

১৬ই ডিসেম্বর বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ের আনন্দের দিন যাকে বিজয় দিবস হিসেবে পালন করা হয়। ১৯৭১ সালের এই দিনে বাংলাদেশ স্বাধীন হয়। এইদেশের মানুষ দিনটি খুবই সম্মান এবং মর্যাদার সাথে উদযাপন করে। শহীদদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা জানাতে সর্বস্তরের মানুষ দিবসটি উদযাপন করে।

সরকারি ও বেসরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো দিনটিতে বিশেষ আনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করে এছাড়া দেশের সকল রেডিও এবং টিভি গুলোতে বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠান সম্প্রচার করে । দিনটি একটি সরকারি ছুটির দিন এবং সমস্ত সরকারি ও বেসরকারি ভবনের উপরে জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন করা হয়। আমি শহীদ মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানাতে সাভারে জাতীয় স্মৃতিসৌধে যাই। সেদিন আমরা স্মরণ করি মাটির সেই বীর আত্মাদের যাদের রক্তের বিনিময়ে অর্জিত হয়েছে বিজয়। এটি একটি স্বাধীন দেশের জন্য সত্যি অনেক গর্বের এবং আনন্দের দিন হিসেবে বিবেচিত। 

এই দিনে আমরা যুদ্ধে জীবন উৎসর্গকারী শহীদদের জন্য অনুভব করি। তাদের শক্তি ও আত্মত্যাগ আমাদের অনুপ্রাণিত করে। পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনী হাজার হাজার নিরীহ মানুষকে হত্যা করেছে, অসংখ্য নারী নির্যাতন করেছে, দেশের অনেক বুদ্ধিজীবীকে হত্যা করেছে। নয় মাস যুদ্ধের পর আমরা বর্বর পাকিস্তানিদের হাত থেকে স্বাধীনতার সোনালি সূর্য অর্জন করেছি। দেশের জন্য কাজ করার জন্য শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগ আমাদের জন্য অনুপ্রেরণার উত্স হিসাবে কাজ করবে। দিবসটির প্রতীকী অর্থ হলো আমরা আমাদের শত্রু পাকিস্তানি শাসকদের বিরুদ্ধে বিজয় অর্জন করেছি। বাংলাদেশের মানুষ প্রমাণ করেছে, স্বাধীনতা মানুষের জন্মগত অধিকার।

16th December is called Victory Day of Bangladesh. This is the most memorable day in the history of our country. After nine long months of bloody war we achieved victory on this day. Pakistani forces were forced to surrender. Bangladesh has been placed on the world map as an independent country. Every year we celebrate this day with due dignity. We remember the supreme sacrifice of patriotic heroes who laid down their lives for the country and we pay glowing tributes to their departed souls. The day begins with gunfire. The entire country is in a festive atmosphere. The national flag is hoisted over every house and office. Bangabandhu's March 7 speech and patriotic songs filled the atmosphere. The armed forces of the country organized special parades and gunfights. The Prime Minister and the President received greetings from them. Political leaders and common people visit Savar National Cemetery.

They offer flowers there to express their heart's love for the brave children who gave their lives for freedom. Meetings, seminars, symposiums and discussions are held by various governments on this day. And non-governmental organizations this day is a day of great joy, hope and inspiration. This victory is a symbol of victory against injustice, tyranny and lies. This day will be forever fresh and forever green in the heart of every Bangladeshi.

১৬ই ডিসেম্বরকে বলা হয় বাংলাদেশের বিজয় দিবস। এটি আমাদের দেশের ইতিহাসে সবচেয়ে স্মরণীয় দিন। দীর্ঘ নয় মাস রক্তক্ষয়ী যুদ্ধের পর এই দিনে আমরা বিজয় অর্জন করি। পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী আত্মসমর্পণ করতে বাধ্য হয়। স্বাধীন দেশ হিসেবে বিশ্ব মানচিত্রে স্থান করে নিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ। প্রতি বছর আমরা এই দিনটিকে যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদায় পালন করি। আমরা দেশপ্রেমিক বীর সন্তানদের সর্বোচ্চ আত্মত্যাগকে স্মরণ করি যারা দেশের জন্য তাদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করে এবং আমরা তাদের বিদেহী আত্মার প্রতি উজ্জ্বল শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করি। দিনটি শুরু হয় বন্দুকের গুলি দিয়ে। উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে সারা দেশ। প্রতিটি বাড়ি ও অফিসের ওপরে জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলন করা হয়। বঙ্গবন্ধুর ৭ মার্চের ভাষণ আর দেশাত্মবোধক গানে মুখরিত হয়ে ওঠে পুরো পরিবেশ। দেশের সশস্ত্র বাহিনী বিশেষ কুচকাওয়াজ ও বন্দুকযুদ্ধের আয়োজন করে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী ও রাষ্ট্রপতি তাদের কাছ থেকে সালাম নেন। রাজনৈতিক নেতৃবৃন্দ এবং সাধারণ মানুষ সাভারে জাতীয় সমাধিসৌধ পরিদর্শন ।

স্বাধীনতার জন্য প্রাণ দেওয়া বীর সন্তানদের প্রতি তাদের হৃদয়ের ভালোবাসা প্রকাশ করতে তারা সেখানে ফুল নিবেদন করে। এই দিনে বিভিন্ন সরকার কর্তৃক সভা, সেমিনার, সিম্পোজিয়াম ও আলোচনা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এবং বেসরকারি সংগঠন এই দিনটি একটি মহান আনন্দ, আশা এবং অনুপ্রেরণার দিন। এই বিজয় অন্যায়, অত্যাচার ও মিথ্যার বিরুদ্ধে বিজয়ের প্রতীক। এই দিনটি প্রতিটি বাংলাদেশীর হৃদয়ে চির তাজা এবং চির সবুজ হয়ে থাকবে।
